Tonight, you will gather for a warm welcome dinner and a henna party—where intricate designs bloom across your hands like art, marking the beginning of a magical journey through Rajasthan.
Day 2: Step into the soul of Old Delhi on a walking tour alive with spice-scented bazaars, centuries-old temples, and winding lanes where history lingers in every brick. From the grand India Gate to hidden gems tucked within the chaos, today is a feast for your senses—a thrilling introduction to the pulse of India.
Day 3: Awaken to the serene beauty of yoga with the Taj Mahal in view, where the rising sun bathes the marble in a soft golden glow. Spend the day immersed in the joyous celebration of Holi, throwing vibrant colors and laughter into the air with locals, feeling the energy and spirit of this timeless festival. In the evening, gather for a festive saree party, choosing the perfect saree to wear for the day ahead.
Day 4: Greet the dawn at the Taj Mahal, as the first rays of light turn the marble into shades of pink and gold, it’s a vision you’ll carry forever. Rise early to don the sarees you chose together the night before, a moment of shared excitement and colour before the day begins. After breakfast, explore the bazaar markets before travelling to Jaipur, the Pink City, where royal palaces and vibrant streets sweep you into Rajasthan’s regal embrace
Day 5: Marvel at the grandeur of the City Palace and stand before the honeycomb façade of Hawa Mahal, once the secret window to royal life. Venture into the wild on an exhilarating leopard safari, where the thrill of spotting these elusive cats is matched only by the untamed beauty of the landscape. As the day winds down, ascend to Nahargarh Fort, perched high above the Pink City, where the golden hues of sunset bathe Jaipur in a dreamy glow. Jaipur’s elegance blends with its chaos—palaces, bazaars, and vibrant streets create an intoxicating mix of culture and beauty waiting for you to explore
Day 6: It’s time to head to your next destination, Jodhpur, where the desert landscapes unfold like a moving painting. Arrive in the Blue City and be welcomed into a traditional homestay, where hospitality shines as brightly as the indigo walls that stretch before you. For the next two days, you can unwind and live a slow village life, with all your meals and drinks included. Relish home-cooked, vegetarian dishes crafted from fresh, locally sourced ingredients, the aromas of spices and simmering vegetables filling the air. Sit down with your hosts to share meals that reflect the heart of the village, sip refreshing drinks as the sun dips behind the blue-washed rooftops, and let each moment slow down as you soak in the rhythms, sights, and sounds of authentic rural life.
Day 7: Immerse yourself in rural Rajasthan with a Bishnoi village safari, where artisans weave stories into rugs and traditions thrive in daily life. From cooking on an open fire to learning the art of dhurrie weaving, today you experience Rajasthan’s heartbeat, its people.
Day 8: Venture deeper into the heart of the Thar Desert as you travel to Jaisalmer, the legendary Golden City. By evening, the city’s sandstone fort shimmers like a mirage under the setting sun, and the desert begins to whisper its timeless secrets. Enjoy your walking tour around Jaisalmer Fort, exploring its narrow lanes, bustling markets, and intricately carved havelis, soaking in the rich history and vibrant local life. Later, settle into your accommodation and let the desert’s magic prepare you for tomorrow’s adventure into the dunes
Day 9: Set off into the golden dunes by jeep, where the desert stretches endlessly beneath the vast Rajasthani sky. As the sun begins to sink, the sands glow with fiery hues, guiding you to your desert camp. Tonight, gather by the fire for music, stories, and a starlit feast before drifting into sleep under a canopy of countless stars.
Day 10: Wake with the desert sunrise and return to the city for a final wander through Jaisalmer’s alleys, its golden walls and intricate carvings whispering centuries of tales. Pack your bags, but know that Rajasthan has left its colors imprinted on your soul. Tonight you will step aboard the overnight sleeper train and experience travel the way locals do, an adventure in itself! As the desert fades into the night, you settle into your berth and let the gentle rhythm of the train carry you across Rajasthan. The hum of conversation, the sway of the carriage, and the ever-changing landscapes outside your window make this journey feel timeless. By morning, you awaken in Delhi, having crossed vast stretches of India while cradled in the charm of overnight rail travel.
Day 11: Your journey comes full circle as you return to Delhi, carrying with you the magic of Rajasthan fortresses, deserts, sunsets, and the memories of friendships made beneath starry skies. This is not the end, but the beginning of a new story you’ll tell for years to come.
Please note: The animals we hope to see are wild and free—just the way they should be! While we do our best to visit prime locations for wildlife viewing, we can’t promise any specific sightings. That’s part of the adventure!
