Your Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in vibrant Vietnam and settle into your new home away from home. Once everyone is checked in and feeling refreshed, you’ll come together for a welcome briefing where you’ll get the full run-through of what’s ahead, including local tips and everything you need to know. Next, you’ll take a traditional cyclo ride through the lively streets, soaking in the energy of the city. In the evening, you’ll enjoy a welcome dinner as a group, the perfect chance to connect, get to know one another, and ease into the adventure. And in true Becoming Solo fashion, you will all have the opportunity to set an intention for your trip and receive a message from the angels by pulling one angel card ( & it’s your to keep!)
Day 2: This morning kicks off with a hands on coffee making class where you’ll learn to whip up Vietnam’s creamiest and most iconic brew. You’ll learn the history of how egg coffee came to be, as well as trying the other famous coffee’s in Vietnam! You’ll enjoy a street food tour in the early evening, tasting your way through the city’s hidden gems and local favourites. A chance to discover all of the local delicacies so you are clued up on the food throughout your trip!

Day 3: Today you set sail into the stunning limestone landscapes of Halong Bay, a UNESCO world heritage site! On board our cruise, you’ll first have lunch together and have a safety briefing. Then it’s time to change and head to the beach, for a chance to swim, relax on the sand, buy some drinks and lounge by the fire. Back on deck, you can sit on the top deck and watch the sunset, chill in a jacuzzi or hang out in your rooms with a gorgeous view of Halong Bay as we cruise inside the bay. After dinner, enjoy drinks by bar, sing your heart out on the karaoke, or lounge on the top deck watching the sky and stars at night!
Day 4: Wake up to the serene beauty of Halong Bay as the cruise glides through more of its stunning limestone scenery. After breakfast, enjoy kayaking through the limestone cliffs. After a slow, peaceful morning on board, we’ll make our way back to Hanoi, arriving by the afternoon. The rest of the day is yours, take time to relax, wander the city’s vibrant streets, or tuck yourself into a hidden café for some quality people-watching. It’s a well-earned breather before the next adventure begins.
Day 5: Get ready for a full day of exploring the breathtaking landscapes and rich history of Ninh Binh. You’ll start by stepping back in time at Hoa Lu, Vietnam’s ancient capital during the Dinh and Le Dynasties. From there, you’ll visit the stunning Trang An, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you’ll glide along peaceful waterways and through dramatic cave systems on a traditional boat ride. To finish the day, we’ll hike up to the top of Mua Cave. It’s over 500 steps, but the panoramic views from Ngoa Long Mountain are more than worth the climb.
Day 7: Welcome to Hoi An. After arriving and settling into your new stay, you’ll head out in the afternoon for a guided bike tour through the peaceful countryside. You’ll learn how to fish the traditional Vietnamese way using bamboo baskets, then roll up your sleeves for some hands-on farming as you discover how locals grow their own food. You’ll end the day with a wholesome Vietnamese dinner together, sharing stories and soaking up the slow, soulful rhythm of Hoi An.
Day 8: Today is all about diving deeper into the heart of Hoi An. You’ll start the morning exploring the local markets, shopping for fresh ingredients while learning about Vietnamese produce and cooking customs. Then, it’s time for some fun on the water with a ride in the famous round bamboo spinning boats. After that, tap into your creative side with a lantern making class, crafting your own colourful souvenir. You’ll wrap up the day with a hands-on cooking class, learning to prepare traditional Vietnamese dishes using the ingredients you picked up earlier.
Day 9: Today is all yours to enjoy Hoi An at your own pace. Whether you want to hit the beach, browse the tailor shops, or simply wander the lantern-lit streets and soak in the charm, the choice is completely yours. It’s the perfect day to follow your own rhythm and make the most of this magical little town. You will receive a full guidebook with your finalised itinerary with recommendations on what you can do around the town.
Day 10: You’ll start the day early with a peaceful sunrise paddle, kayak through calm waters. Along the way, you’ll visit a local fishing village and then make your way through the lush mangroves, taking in the quiet beauty of the morning. After breakfast, the rest of the morning is yours before we prepare to leave for Da Lat, the town in the mountains that sit above the clouds.
Day 11: You’ll wake up in stunning and peaceful Da Lat. Once checked in, the rest of the day is yours to relax, explore, or grab your first taste of southern Vietnamese cuisine. It’s a new city with a whole new energy.
