Day 01

Welcome to Ecuador

Check in, settle in, and meet the incredible group of solo travellers you’ll soon call family. As evening unfolds, gather for the Becoming Solo Welcome Ceremony, setting intentions, guided journalling and angel cards, followed by a family dinner together.

Day 02

Quito's Old Town & Overnight to the Amazon

A relaxed morning before a guided walking tour of Quito’s UNESCO-listed historic centre; colonial architecture, vibrant plazas and centuries of history. Free time to explore before boarding the overnight bus east, towards the Ecuadorian Amazon.

Day 03

Into the Rainforest

Leave the modern world behind, travelling by traditional motorised canoe into the Cuyabeno Wildlife Reserve. Settle into your jungle lodge, swim in a secluded lagoon at sunset, then head out after dark on a night canoe expedition in search of caimans and nocturnal wildlife.

Day 04

Deep in the Emerald Canopy

A guided jungle trek reveals medicinal plants, wildlife and the Amazon’s extraordinary biodiversity. Taste locally grown coffee, chocolate and traditional drinks, then head back onto the river in search of the legendary pink river dolphin, before a guided night walk.

Day 05

Indigenous Community & Shaman Experience

Step beyond tourism into the eyes of the people who have protected the Amazon for generations. Prepare a traditional lunch together, meet the community’s shaman for an introduction to ancestral healing, and leave with far more than photographs.

Day 06

Sunrise Farewell to the Jungle

A misty sunrise canoe excursion, birdsong filling the canopy as golden light dances across the water, before the journey back along the river. Some places leave an impression. The Amazon leaves a part of itself with you.

Day 07

Quito & The Middle of the World

A slow morning to recharge before visiting one of Ecuador’s most iconic landmarks, the Equator monument, where you’ll stand with one foot in each hemisphere. One final night in Quito before departing for the Galápagos.

Day 08

Arrival in the Galápagos

Fly from Quito into the archipelago and board your boutique catamaran. Visit North Seymour Island, frigate birds, courting blue-footed boobies and basking marine iguanas, before settling into life at sea.

Day 09

Lobos Island & Kicker Rock

Snorkel crystal-clear waters alongside playful sea lions, rays and sea turtles. Cruise past the iconic volcanic cliffs of Kicker Rock, then kayak or paddleboard the shoreline of Cerro Brujo.

Day 10

Española Island

Snorkel the turquoise waters of Gardner Bay and Osborn Islet, then walk Punta Suárez, widely regarded as one of the finest wildlife walks in the Galápagos, alive with nesting seabirds and marine iguanas.

Floreana Island

Explore Cormorant Point’s lagoons and birdlife before visiting the historic Post Office Bay, a 200-year-old handwritten postal tradition, and the panoramic Baroness Viewpoint.

Day 12

Santa Cruz Highlands & Journey's End

Visit the giant tortoises roaming freely in the Santa Cruz Highlands, a fitting final chapter. Your official Becoming Solo adventure ends here, with the freedom to extend your stay or head home, carrying friendships and memories that last a lifetime.

Galápagos National Park fee, approx. $200pp.
The Galápagos Transit Control Card and National Park Entrance Fee are mandatory government fees paid directly by each traveler, they can’t be processed on your behalf. Confirmed guests receive full instructions in their pre-departure pack. Some meals are also not included.

If you book Shared, you’ll be roomed with one other solo traveller of the same gender. Many of our travellers say their roommate became one of their closest friends from the trip. Prefer your own space? Choose Private.
